Friday night I took my daughter Rebecca to a midnight release party for the new Stephanie Meyer book, "Breaking Dawn."  Rebecca is very much in love with the series.  They had a costume contest for the best vampire outfit, and Rebecca won it, getting a free copy of the book.  Of course, that's MY cape she's wearing!

I had a cape, actually a prop and of good quality, that I leant to a friend last Halloween... It has not been returned.   Getting it back is a "whole thing" I'd guess, which I have no energy for, and chalk it up as gone, like so much else.  That's what I get for being generous.    ABA ZABA ZOOM

No capes here, but my old boss used to keep a white Van Halen jumpsuit in his office closet. Though we never saw it happen, we were all pretty sure he put it on at night after everyone had left, then leaped about the office shouting along to "Jump". I'm pretty sure that's why there were never any security cameras in that place...
