I live in Minnesota - right next door to Wisconsin.  Every night the lead story on the local news is Brett Favre.  Oh, Brett's coming back to Green Bay!  Wait, he's not!  Wait, he is again!  He's going to be a backup.  No, he's going to be the starter!  No, he's going to have to compete for the starting job!  Let's get reaction from miscellaneous people in bars! 

And now he's going to New York?  Oh good lord.  The people of Wisconsin are going to be flying the flags at half mast.  There may even be civil unrest, an insurrection perhaps.

I loved Favre as a player, but he's just embarrassing himself now.  Sad to see a legend who doesn't know when to hang up the helmet and leave the game with dignity.
