Most people who have seen this parody of slasher films remember three things: the killer's heavy breathing, the body count total that flashes on the screen whenever a new victim is discovered, and horse head bookends.

This review is part of the Tomb of Anubis' "Post Grammatic Stress Disorder" roundtable.  Make sure to check out the other sites that reviewed a bad movie that plagued higher education.

The horsehead bookend scene is totally worth watching this film for, so weird.

Nobody keeps track of these things, but I think this may be the most frequent entry on the "What Was That Film?" board.  It seems like almost everyone's seen a scene from this that sticks in their memory for a long time, but no one was impressed enough to actually figure out the name of what they were watching at the time.  It's just that kind of movie.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I remember watching this movie when I was a young lad and then more recently about a few years ago.  I love this movie.   The thing with the shop teach and the Horse Head Book ends was funny.  I think he still lived with his mother.  The best part of the movie was the end.  I loved how it had a Wizard of Oz type of ending.  I plan on adding this my library.

the first time I saw it, was at the haslfway point when they arrived at the dance in the disguise. Toby's balloons were squeeking, people were staring at here and saying is that Toby, she and here friend kissed, and I was wondering: "is she a guy disguised as a girl looking for a killer? I got to watch this movie all the way throught next time around!"

I own this on DVD. Hilarious. Lousy ending, but funny.

I would have added a bunch of lines from The Breather and the MPAA scene. That ALWAYS makes me laugh. Love his twisted little sneer after he says the line.

Also every movie needs a body count counter...

I think that title goes to ISLAND OF TERROR (1966).
