I was in the middle of replying with the only 1972 American zombie movie I know, but that just clinched it.  It's Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things right?

I'm not sure how obscure this one is, so just as an early hint I'll say it's a Spanish horror/black comedy film and it's pretty recent.
