I finally got time over the last two days (yesterday mostly) to watch some movies!

I started my day with Warriors of the Wasteland, something of a classic on this site, but one I hadn't seen. About the only thing I can say about this movie is HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *gasp gasp* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *pant pant* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! It indeed deserves its classic status as one of the funniest bad movies out there. Lame stunts, bad acting, awful special effects, all in a package that seems to take itself very seriously. Great stuff.

Then I watched Werewolf vs. Vampire Women, another European film. I'd seen it once before but felt like watching it again. I'd have to say the best acting came from the female lead; how she was able to kiss the fish-lipped werewolf guy without barfing would test the mettle of any actress.

Next came The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, both starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. Good popcorn flicks. I hadn't watched them in a while and found them in a cheap collection along with The Scorpion King at Half Price Books.

This morning, I watched Ghostbusters. This is another one I haven't seen in a long time. It's a little cheesier than I remembered, but it's still a very fun ride.

Hopefully, I'll have time again next week to watch some more, but now I have to go to work  :bluesad:.

What I love about "Warriors of the Wasteland" is how clean everyone is -- I mean, this is a dystopian future, right?  How come everyone, especially the girls, is so dang clean & shiny?  There isn't even any dirt on the costumes!!  Yeah, this one is a great double-bill with "Starcrash!" --

I have no idea what this means.
