Incidentally, am I the only one who'd be freaked out by construction equipment constantly weaving all over the countryside at high speeds, flailing buckets and booms? And then there's Bob, hanging off the side of a runaway backhoe, like Cheezeflixz after a little too much Maker's Mark. One of these day's, he's going to mow down Farmer Pickles, and then there'll be hell to pay. Oh yes.

The U.K version of that theme was actually a Number 1 hit in the British singles chart back in December 2000. It knocked Eminem's "Stan" off the top spot much to the chargin of some D.Js!

Some of my last few picks for song of the day are thanks to the same reason.  Aka Thomas, Duck Tales, etc.  I decided to try my two year old on Duck Tales and luckily it was a hit.

I think Spud on that show is spaztastic.  I can do a pretty good immitation of him too...sadly.

I think they only redub the show if it becomes a marketing phenomenon. Plenty of BBC kids' shows make it to North America intact. I have a bit of trouble telling which ones, since I really like the shows BBC Canada puts on their kids' channel, all with the original soundtracks. This explains how Balamory keeps creeping into this thread. If I could find a YouTube video of the intro to Bits and Bobs, I'd probably post that as well. It gets stuck in my head more than anything. That and various Boogie Beebies songs.
