Tonight is my eating bad night.  Whopper with cheese, onions and ketchup and fries.

Roast chicken legs, pasta salad with a few new potatoes.

Spaghetti tonight.  Regular pasta and I use Classico sauce, adding in some garlic.

Y'know, Trevor, I could probably count on one hand the number of South Africans I've met in my life, but one thing they all seemed to have in common was an appreciation of pizza.

True dat, very true. :teddyr:

We are also famous for our braais [barbecues] which are not complete without an African staple food, known as pap. Pap is maize meal which is cooked into a porridge and is delicious, especially with thick sauce. It is also good for you as it lowers your cholesterol and is just as nice with milk and sugar as it is with sauce, although not at the same time.  :buggedout:

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Just ate a national symbol.  Aw yeah!

Kangaroo steaks, salt and peppered with a bit of Tomota Sauce [ketchup] and made up a nice salad of spinach, carrot, beetroot, mushrooms, capsicum and cucumber.  Had a bit of plain yoghurt as well.

Kangaroo steaks,

Ate it when I was in OZ..  Loved it!
Kangaroo meat is delectable!

Only wish I could get here in the states.

Rock on Ash!
I'm sure you can get it, though it might just be a lot harder to get and a lot more expensive!

It was nice, but nothing to rave about really.  I think I'll have it more often, since it's generally cheaper than the alternatives and the stickers on the packet said it's 'greener' since 'roos don't eat as much grass, produce methane and is generally a healthier meat.

Whatever, I like my meat bad for me, but still it'll get a higher rotation on the menu than it did before.

I made lasagna last night for dinner.  I was really happy as it turned out really great for my first time making it.

Just had a big fat sirloin steak with some baby potatoes and stir fry, with a sprinkle of chives and some french mustard on the side. Yum, yum, pig's bum

Trevor, I've actually eaten pap and I would say you're greatly exaggerating it's deliciosity.   Basically it's almost identical to what we here in the American south call "grits".

But who am I to talk?  I heated up a pepperoni and sausage pizza for dinner.  But as far as frozen pizzas go, at least it was the good stuff (California Pizza Kitchen).
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I had a foot long Subway  spicy Italian sub on wheat. I got lettuce, tomato, relish, black olives, banana peppers, cucumbers, spinach and a dash of vinegar on it in addition to lite mustard and mayonnaise.

Maybe that's what I should have had. I had a foot long pastrami on Italian bread with mayo, onions, lettuce and pickles.

It wasn't that good.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Mr. DS

I had the same thing tonight as when I started this thread.  But I had some orange fat free Jello for desert.
