Bruce Dern
Jack Nicholson
Vincent Price (in some roles anyways)
Jackie Chan (albeit in a silly way)

If Vincent Price qualifies, does that mean we can add Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff and Peter Lorre?

Don Johnson? Really? You think Don Johnson is more badass than Philip Michael Thomas?

I have been called a badass before, Reverend, and I might qualify (I doubt it); but I would't go on this list because I haven't been in a film (bad or otherwise). I probably should have specified, but it is in the "bad movies" forum. It's nice of you to include your friends, though. Maybe we should have a topic about badass posters (which is most of us except Wyrewizard, in my opinion).

Jackie Chan is a badass by accident, which is what's cool about him. If we add him, does that mean Jet Li's comin', too?
Bruce Campbell is a lover and a fighter. If you want to find him, follow the trail of dead men and pregnant women.

Oh yeah, I always seem to forget to give Philip a mention. Perhaps because I am a massive Don Johnson fan (and MV fan), but remember Don has actually kicked more ass in Miami Vice plus; Nash Bridges, Dead Bang and Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man  :teddyr:

Mel Gibson in the "Mad Max" and "Lethal Weapon" movies might qualify

Well, I'm more afraid of Thomas than Johnson. I'm tempted to include Ray Liotta, just because I like to hear him yell curse words.

Karloff was definitely a badass in THE BODY SNATCHER.  He killed a puppy with a shovel for barking too loud, for goodness sake.  Plus, he killed Bela, which makes Bela a wimp in my opinion.  (I can say this because RC Merchant isn't around right now).
