I'm a huge fan of tex-mex food (not so much mexican since they cook a lot of fish and seafood). And just thinking of nachos makes me want to go make a quesadilla. What sucks is there's really not that many mexican restaurants around my apt. that's sad since i live in texas. On the border or taco cabana is ok but usually it's those family run joints that have the best food

although i used to love panchos because their food was cheap. unfortunatly most of them shut down here, probably because all the la cugarachas..lol

I don't live in Texas or anywhere near it, but we have a very large Mexican population here and several Latin groceries stores that serve food too. Most "gringos" don't go to them, but they have the best Mexican food. The real stuff not the toned down, Americanized crap they serve in most restaurants and it's cheap too. You can get about a 3lb burrito for $3 and it's freaking huge.
AS for Nacho the serve what looks to be a turkey platter of nachos for $2.50 that is covered on fresh home made tortilla chips, grilled chicken, black beans and rice covered with mole' (pronounced moe-lay) sauce and topped with sour cream. Man I'm hungry now and they're open.
