The old thread I'd started a year ago was revived today, and I realized we had never selected a single BEST BAD MOVIE. As Raffine had pointed out in the old thread, we should try to select the film we all most enjoy. I've not seen all of these films, but between the lot of us, someone amongst has seen each and every one. So, as InformationGeek had suggested, why don't we pair them off and shoot them down one at a time, arbitrary style, until we're left with one? How do we do it? Here is the full list:

Suggestion: do it in a sort of World Cup format. First, put the movies in 25 groups, grouped by number (that is, movies 1-4 make up group 1, movies 5-8 make up group 2, and so on to group 97-100). Each person votes to advance one movie from each group.

At the end of that round of voting you would have 25 winners. Break them into 5 groups of 5 each, like before, and have people vote to advance 1 movie from each of those groups.

That leaves you with a final group of 5 movies to select a finalist from.

If anyone wants to take that idea and run with it, feel free. If anyone has a different suggestion, that's fine too.

I agree 100%. I'm still cry myself to sleep at night, longing for a DVD release.
