I think there is a legal rights problem that is keeping The Wizard of Speed and Time from getting a DVD release.  Which is a rotten shame.  My freind showed me this movie on VHS a while back and I fell in love with it. Its a great tribute to special effects.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

While Inchon was never released on tape I doubt it will be ever released on DVD.  Part of me wishes it will be because I have such a huge urge to watch it.

I'd also like to see alot of the old metal VHS tapes on dvd. Bands in the 80's-early 90's put out quite a few, with all their promo videos on, interviews and general goofing off.

I've seen Saturday the 14th on DVD before. I used to own it.

Really, I remember seeing a site where people could request that a movie be released on DVD and S14 had like 2 requests, mine made 3. . I haven't been able to find it. .

Also, if anyone knows of a site where people show their interest in movies being put on DVD, please let me know. I used to know of one but I've forgotten the name of it. .
Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

Hardware aka M.A.R.K. 13 will likely never see a DVD release, as they ripped the whole thing off from a 2000 AD comic and got their pants sued off sometime around the VHS release.

Phantasm II is on DVD in the U.K. I guess, but not in the U.S.

I got Saturday the 14th years ago at a used/new record store. I guess it's out of print now.

I spoke with Mike Jittlov on the phone a few years back.  The problem was not with the rights, but with finding a company interested in releasing the film.  He was a very nice person to talk to on the phone, but his experience in making the film definitely hurt him.  From what I have read, and the conversation with Mike, the real producer ended up acting like the producer that is portrayed in the movie.

A DVD with "The Wizard of Speed and Time" and all of Mr. Jittlov's shorts would be an instant purchase for me.  He had a fantastic talent for those special effects.

Phantasm II has yet to surface on DVD. Every other Phantasm film has.

Phantasm II is on DVD.

CLOWN FIGHT!  CLOWN FIGHT!

I don't know what the problem is with these (they may get a DVD release after all), but I'd like to see BLOOD DINER, ROSAURA A LAS 10, GOODBYE 20TH CENTURY, and a reissue of LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD on DVD, among others.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I just read that short comic.  It has similarities, but I'm amazed they lost a lawsuit.  The similarities are so broad, and the styles are so different, that I really don't see it.  It'd be like if the people who made Predator sued the people who made Watchers 3.

Oh wow, there is a long list of movies that need to be released on DVD.

I have quite a few of the movies listed here on DVD. I prefer legal copies, but until they come out in a official studio release I'll have to settle for the "Official Asian Release"
