Nukie 2

What are some movies that you know about on VHS that will never make to DVD?
I can only name like three or four.

John Water's MONDO TRASHO or MULTIPLE MANIACS, due to music rights issues. It's sad to think today's youth will never get to see The Cavalcade of Perversions featuring the astounding 'Puke Eater' ("Watch him lap it up. He luvs it!").

With the drastic slowing down of DVD sales we not too likely to see the rest of the Universal horror catalog like THE MAD GHOUL, HOUSE OF HORRORS and the other two 'Paula the Ape Woman' movies - or  the early Paramount horror films now owned by Universal, including ISLAND OF LOST SOULS and MURDERS IN THE ZOO.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

Are you kidding?  I OWN most of them!

Cool Breeze - The Asphalt Jungle, only darker.

Night of Horror - Tony Malanowski's pride and joy.

Tintorera - fifth-rate Jaws ripoff in English and Spanish. Woo.

Alien 2: Sulla Terra (Alien : On Earth) - an Italian ripoff of Star Wars.  Just kidding.

Rad - False advertising courtesy of Hal (Cannonball Run) Needham.

MegaForce - see above.

Body Slam - ditto.

Santa and The Ice Cream Bunny - even Hollywood has its pride.

Sextette - for necrophiliacs only.

Song of the South - I think this one, especially, is a pretty safe bet.

I've heard they are trying to find a way to release this on DVD due to fan demand.  You know there is some group out there waiting for the announcement of the release so they can go ape sh*t over it. It was just a stupid movie released back when civil rights had no meaning. Take it as a historical time capsule, shut up and move on to more important things.

Nukie 2

Actually I lie I can name a few:
Quest for the Mighty Sword-- My proudest find, litterally a dream come true, as I had dreams I was watching "Troll 3".
Nukie-- though aint worth nothing, you can find it on Ebay for less than $2.00... or you can trade me something for it, as I have two copies  :teddyr:)
Zombie Nightmare-- was MST3k'd
Teenage Frankenstien
It Conquered the World-- (DVD+R at Ebay-- cheaters)
Amazing Colossal Man-- was MST3k'd  (if you see it on Ebay it's DVD+R, doesn't count I can do that too-- cheater.)
Little Red Riding Hood and the Monsters (AKA Caperucita y Pulgarcito contra los monstruos)

-- in New condition this goes for $100!, maybe theres a few K. Gordon Murray flicks in the same position. The best thing in the world is that you can sometimes get Santa (1959) on DVD at Amazon fot like $0.98; that was my Christmas present this year  :teddyr:.

Psycho Circus

I've mentioned these in some other threads but;

Radioactive Dreams
Damnation Alley
Cellar Dweller
Ratboy
Shock 'Em Dead

I have heard that Damnation Alley is getting a DVD release at the end of the year, as it has been shown in high def at special screenings, which would point to an updated transfer. Ratboy is the one I don't hold too many high hopes for, most people who've seen it don't have much good to say. I need it for nostalgia purposes, as I viewed it when I was about 6 or 7 and depressed the crap outta me even then. I need closure.

Ratboy! i saw it at a friends house when i was like 8 or 9, it was on hbo or showtime i think. i remember some kid that lived in manhatten or some penthouse that befriends ratboy and ratboy crying in an alley, thats about it. i saw a vhs copy on ebay a couple of years ago, i regret not buying the damn thing. (sigh)
