I think all VHS movies will be on DVD someday.  Even movies that have copyright issues with music and stuff.  Somewhere, somehow, these problems will be solved.  I remember Spielberg saying ET would never be released on video because it's a group experience that needs to be shared in a large auditorium.  I remember movies like SLAPSHOT and THE LONGEST YARD being released in "home video" versions with some of the music altered or edited out completely (the VHS version of SLAPSHOT had alternate music in place of the song "Get Right Back" by Maxine Nightingale and the VHS version of THE LONGEST YARD was missing a short sequence with transvestite inmates singing "Born Free" . . . but the DVDs have the original music for both of these movies intact).  Where there's a will, there's a way . . .
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Well, now we are drifting away from DVDs with avi. files and such-- which I personally don't really like, cos I wanna sit on my couch and enjoy.

Not in an official capacity.  You said it, "where there's a will, there's a way".  There's no will for a lot of unreleased films, as there isn't any money in it.

Inframan - one of my all time favorites. I know The Super Inframan is already out, but I would like to have them both on DVD.

It's the same movie . . . they just used the title SUPER INFRAMAN for the DVD.  I own a copy.

But it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.  If a DVD release is likely to be profitable, someone will release it.  If it is unlikely to be profitable, eventually it will become public domain material and then EVERYONE will release a cheap version of it.  If a movie was on VHS it WILL be on DVD some day.  You MUST believe!  Drink with me from the cup of faith!

ROBO-C.H.I.C., aka CYBER-C.H.I.C., will never be released on DVD, nor will a number of other films, simply because it is impossible to determine who actually owns the rights to the finished product.

Legal reasons alone drive a lot of this stuff.  The dream era wherein every single thing existing gets an electronic release of some sort depends upon the passage of time and the death of lawyers and legal entities.  Quite possibly Robomess will get a DVD or Ethernet or Squidly-Diddly release sometime in 2015, when the technology and law changes drastically, but not before.

peter johnson/denny i know too many (unprintable) lawyers.
I have no idea what this means.

BUREINPARESU

Least it's got "goblin" in the title, though I hear this movie had something to do with tentacles or something, still can't believe d'Amato was trying to make something out of that (godly) abomination of a "sequel".
