NSFKids or, IMO Anyone under 18!!!

This is NOT - let me repeat - "NOT" - a discussion I'm looking forward to having, but after poor Andrew's latest review - "Leeches" - with all its gay antics it's really something that I need to have cleared up. [In case you didn't know, I'm a guy, straight afaik.]

First off, "stereotypically" guys like girl/girl action. I can't figure out why for the life of me this is; why is this attractive? What are the psychological and chemical reactions going on here?! I mean, threesomes I can understand a little bit better, if the two are focused on the guy, but with you-know-what the guy isn't even involved; he's just on the sidelines playing, if you'll pardon the extremely crude expression, tug o' war.

Second [and the part I'm dreading hearing about], I can't figure out if girls feel the same way about guy/guy action. Honestly, I HOPE not, but then again, after seeing that clip of American Pie 2, much of the female artwork on DeviantArt,  and the really annoying cheering on SNL, I'm beginning to suspect it's true, but I push it out of my mind. Again, I could understand more with threesomes/d--ble p-n-tr-tion [maybe I shouldn't bother censoring that, but whatever] because the two would both be working to "assist" the female.

In the end, I suppose it all goes back to the battle of the sexes ... maybe. One side maybe feels that if it can get the other side to do something with that same side it is the powerful one.

Not that anyone really cares, but I personally find this stuff taking place [mainly] in the context of marriage distressing. I get the feeling various married men [I don't want to say most men on this site] have asked their wives for another female to get "involved", and I can't really figure out how that's helping to build trust in a relationship. Seems kinda selfish.

But anyways, if you could focus on answering the top two questions, I'll hate you but appreciate it at the same time. ;)

Cheers all, and I'm sorry if I offended you.

Well if I hypothetically was not a gooood booooy, I would prefer to have time with a girl pretty much on my own... However if it came to voyeur stuff, I figure it would be a little better not to see a guy doing it just to see a girl doing it with him :P . Actually having two chicks who like me enough to make out in front of with no real attraction (I'm assuming) between them would just make me feel left out and stupid.

...I am not a girl so I shouldn't try to figure out question 2 on the risk of looking like a moron :P

I think that's looking into it a bit too deep. Maybe it's logical in some cases but I don't think that's the majority. I'd say it's mainly just to satisfy cheap voyeur. If there is some deep psychological reason for actually wanting it done in front of you, it could just be because you think it's hot, but you don't have a real connection with either party. >.>

You don't want to say it..... But you somehow get the feeling..... :o

XD I don't think that happens in most marriages, particularly not in the 50% that don't end in divorce. It's like you say, if stuff like that goes on then that is basically being selfish and doesn't do much to prove a connection to either girl, so how the hell does that "build trust"? "Making sure that even when presented with the option of going with other women your wife will stand by you" is the best somewhat-explanation I can think of for something like that building trust, otherwise it's like: "Hey, darling, if you love me then you will wear googly-glasses when we go out in public for me". If there's a reason for something so unrelated to a marriage, it's probably not "building trust" XD

I have no idea.  I used to like lesbian porn, not much these days.  The tapering off of my interest in it came roughly at the same time I realized that real lesbians aren't going to be interested in letting me join in.

QuoteI mean, threesomes I can understand a little bit better, if the two are focused on the guy, but with you-know-what the guy isn't even involved; he's just on the sidelines playing, if you'll pardon the extremely crude expression, tug o' war.

I've had a couple of m/f/f threesomes, and if the girls aren't into one another it's not very fun at all.  You either end up with one off on the sidelines just watching, or you have to keep going back and forth doing everything for both of them.  That's more work than it is fun.

QuoteSecond [and the part I'm dreading hearing about], I can't figure out if girls feel the same way about guy/guy action.

My ex-fiancee had gay porn that she enjoyed watching, and one of my friends (who is a lesbian mind you) admits to being sexually excited by reading gay male fanfiction.  So, yes, at least some women do.

In real life, I could never imagine my wife with another woman.  Well, let's not be hasty...okay, I've tried, can't imagine it.  EDIT:  I just asked her.  I said "Honey, the guys on the internet wanna know if you'd be interested in some girl-on-girl action".  She says no.  She won't be allowing any of you into our house either.  Anyhow, that would raise so many relationship issues that the few minutes of lustful intrigue wouldn't even come close to being worth it.  But in a movie, some girl-on-girl action might hold my interest for a couple of minutes.  If it's really well done, it might hold my attention for 5 minutes.  I can certainly understand the erotic appeal.  I can understand it very well.

As far as guy-on-guy, I honestly can't figure out how women can find guys sexy in the first place (though it's certainly fine with me that they do), and I don't even wanna go any farther than that.  I really, really don't.

My girlfriend kissed another girl the other day.  Shame I wasn't there...

[It was actually just a friend and they were saying goodbye, but still, it sounds good on paper]

But lets all get into some Yaoi and have a good time!

I had always understood that women weren't visually stimulated, that it was all about touch. But maybe that's changing.

From what I understand women seem to think it's somehow "touching" and "sensitive" for two guys (especially masculine, overly heroish type guys) to be doing stuff together.  Hence all these slash fanfics staring the main male leads of just about any show/movie you can think of.

Dunno if I understand that logic, but that's what I've heard.

As for lesbians, dude, what's there to understand?  Guys, biologically, are aroused visually (that's why they get porn way more than they read smutty novels), the like seeing women naked, and seeing TWO women naked, it's like, "Whoa, more the merrier!"  There's something like, taboo and sensual about two girls - attractive - girls making out.

Ironically though, a lot of lesbians aren't women you want to see making out...

As for the marriage, can't tell you about that, not married.  I do know some people are swingers though, and I just can't figure that the hell out (although that's an entirely different post.)

What I find crazy is males who are into gangbang videos.  I mean, why the hell would anyone want to see a BUNCH of guys doing stuff to ONE woman?  Especially those really messed up films where there's like a line of guys waiting their turn (shudders).

Ew.  I think you thought too much about this.

I think straight dudes like girl on girl cuz then they don't have to look at other dudes.  I doubt they stop to contemplate the moralistic values of said girls.  However, I think the more innocent and spontaneous the situation seems, the more appealing it is.. "Oh we were baking a cake and got COVERED in cake batter..so we just had to take a shower together...".  In most cases, I don't think guys really want the girl they're currently in love with to be with another girl.

I'd say most normal girls don't like the thought of guys together. Ew.  But then again, it looks like girls are starting to like their men to have manicures and facials and ironed clothes all these other girly things, so maybe they want their men to get all hot n' bothered together too... not me though. Ew.

Actually, many guys consider a threesome a way of porking another woman without the risk of divorce. Kinda a win-win. The bonus is that many, maybe even most guys aren't threatened by another woman, they figure that no matter what that woman does with/to their wife, they can still kick her ass as a last resort.

As for girl-girl porn, I think sometimes it's a bit educational: ask any lesbian and she'll tell you that only a woman really knows what another woman really wants. If that's the truth, then girl-girl porn contains valuable lessons.

Contrary to popular belief, I would bet the vast majority of guys really put their woman's wants/needs before their own most of the time when it comes to sex.

I'm OK with mm or ff so long as the people engaged in this act are consenting adults.

I have been to parties where things like this take place ~ as a single guy, only as an observer, not a participant ~ and what I experienced there, broadened my mind and shredded my underpants.  :teddyr:
