One of my friends found this beautiful point while artifact hunting with me yesterday.

This is a huge part of my hobby's appeal: This tiny (a little over 1" long), needle sharp arrowhead was probably chipped out of Ogallala chert over 500 years ago. Since before the death of Henry VIII, it has been lying in the ground, complete and undamaged, barbs still as sharp as the day they were made, waiting for someone to come along and retrieve it and cherish it, as did the Stone Age American who made it so long ago.
