Aslan is the "Great Lion" from the Chronicles of Narina. He is the Lion in The Lion, Witch, and the Wardobe. He represents Jesus in the books.

On the Mount of Transfiguration, where the disciples saw Him as He is on the other side, he appeared radiant beyond words. But, in his earthly incarnation, "He had no stateliness, or majesty . . ."

No one knows what Jesus actually looked like. Probably short and swarthy, like most Middle Easterners. But every artist portrays the Christ as their own vision directs. I rather like this representation, especially with the "Lion of the Tribe of Judah" in the clouds.

Accurate? No.
Cool? Yeah, at least in my opinion.
