Evil dead 4 (f**k yeah!)

What the???!?  There's going to be a fourth Evil Dead film?

I mean, I heard there was going to be a REMAKE of the first film, but not a fourth one... gotta check this out.

Yeah, but they say the same thing about Jurassic Park 4.

Saw VI (October) - If it can make up for what the last 2 films were, it will definitely be worth waiting for IMO.

The Strangers 2 (2010) - I don't know where they'll go from part 1, as a real fan of the movie, I hope they don't just rehash the stuff from the first one.

Puppet Master: Axis of Evil (December or January? With Full Moon you don't know... :P) - Another (Rather unnecessary) prequel, but it looks to be a return to quality after Retro and Legacy!

Phantasm V (Someday) - I will wait till oblivion for this one, and if it's not waiting for me by the time of my death, I will expand my life just to complain >.<

I also want to know if James Cameron's Avatar will be worth all the hype! :)

For the latest on the fifth installment in Don Coscarelli's Phantasm saga.

Careful with your excitement... "in development" does not mean the film is 100% sure to be made.  I think it just means someone has had a couple of lunch meetings.  I would wait until I saw a status of "in production" before getting excited.  See this recent article: http://www.moviehole.net/200919933-raimi-talks-evil-dead-4-again.

I don't like to look too far ahead, but I guess I have high hopes for Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Sin City 2 (2011)

--no poster yet--

Sherlock Holmes (November, '09)
(Directed by Guy Ritchie... Hells Yeah!)

The Book of Eli (2010)

The Evil Dead (2010)
(Director might be Rob Zombie!!!)

...just to name a few.

Monster Jungle X-Ray

Just saw the Book of Eli trailer the other night and it looks pretty good. Post apocalypse films are a favorite genre of mine, and this one looks like it channeled Fallout 3 in the designs.

Hammock Rider

G.I. Joe
Inglorious Basterds
Julia/Julie
and del Toro has said that at some point he wants to do a Dr. Strange movie, although the bar is set pretty high on that one.

Wow just looked at the trailer for Daybreakers and it looks quite interesting!  Kept thinking to myself 'there's alot of Australian/New Zealand Cast members till I searched more and found out it's by the Speirig Bros, the fine fellas responsible for Undead.  Very glad to see they got themselves a budget for this one!

One thing I'm waiting for is not a specific movie per say.  I'm waiting for a movie that bring back giant monsters to American cineima.  It seems we keep getting false starts with Godzilla(98) King Kong(05) and Cloverfield.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Yeah, but they say the same thing about Jurassic Park 4.

Jurassic Park 4?  God, that's 5 Jurassic Park films too many. (And, no, I didn't miscount. They need to do something retroactive to remove any trace of this series, so unmaking an non-existent film would possibly work.)

GAH!  The first Jurassic Park is one of the defining moments in my movie-going life!  The rest can be ignored, though.

I'm looking forward to these:

District 9
Shutter Island
Ponyo
Inglourious Basterds
9 (animated flick...there's also a movie simply called Nine coming out)
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
Avatar
A Serious Man (new Coen Bros. flick)
Where the Wild Things Are
The Road
The Lovely Bones
Ninja Assassin
Alice in Wonderland

I'm hopeful for several of those titles as well.  I'm especially curious about the BAD LIEUTENANT "reboot (?)"---I have almost no idea what to expect, but I'm excited nonetheless!
