Watching this now. Anyone else enjoy this show? It's cheap & corny, but I kinda like it.

I have a signed photo from Erin Grey hanging on the wall at my computer desk. A few years ago I was at a sci-fi convention where Gil Gerard was one of the guests, but I refused to speak to him since he'd been the one who had gotten the show cancelled.

Didn't know he got it canceled. How?

Alex

He thought it was a silly show and didn't want to get typecast so quit.

That's too bad, & I'm not sure it helped his career either. Was he in anything else?

Alex

Bits and pieces here and there. He had addiction issues that did a lot to wreck his career. At one point I heard his weight had ballooned to 300lbs and he had weight reduction surgery of some kind.

Loved this show as a kid, but when they did that exploration ship, it got a little drab........

I've enjoyed what I've seen of both seasons, but the exploration stuff did seem like a cheaper version of Star Trek.

I watched it religiously as a kid - I was a "Star Wars" crazed 9 year old so anything to do with spaceships, robots, etc. was OK by me.

I remember thinking it was odd that my Dad, who normally hated "that sci-fi stuff" as he called it, always watched it with me. It didn't dawn on me till years later that he was in it strictly for the female eye candy. (Erin Gray, yowza!) :D

first season was great but the second season was mediocre I think one of the reasons Gil had it canceled was it was getting to corny and kid friendly.

that lady who was in Playboy and got killed by her husband was on it once. She was super hot

I remember watching this as a kid because they wouldn't show better sci-fi shows on the local channels. It felt as it its creators were mocking me for watching such trash. I found it childish and I was a child.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.
