Some people have brought up Batman and Robin, so I'll add another "special effect" from that movie.  I went looking for the clip but couldn't find it.  There's a scene where Robin has be knocked into a pool.  He pops out of the water, and to show him getting pulled under, they reverse the footage.  There's a definiate stop and the film reverses itself.  Considering the budget and marketing of this film- an effect like this is unthinkable.  Worse then anything we see on this board.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

that's what I'm thinking about Jaws:The Revenge. considering how popular the franchise was, surely the budget could only increase from 1-4 in the series, yet somehow the sharks get progressively worse  :question:  the shark in the original Jaws is easily the best IMO

@dogget, yeah I'll give you that! doesn't look like normal ice at all. who's mr.freeze's companion in that 2nd clip though. she is hot (as she says herself)

@SkullBat308 - 0:15 on that clip, shocking. lol. when was that film made?
