Pretty much what it says in the subject headline, I have a firm memory of a scary scene in an old Christmas Carol film that actually showed Scrooge burdened down with a large massive chain as a potential tormented soul. Now I originally thought this scene was in the 1951 classic film and had been edited out along the line but I now suspect it was instead from yet another version of the story.

After doing some searching, I've learned it was from the 1970 musical version of SCROOGE starring Albert Finney. The picture below reminded me it was the one. Actually this version quite frightened me as a kid but I remember loving the songs especially "Thank You Very Much"
