Yea. Back in the 90's (particularly the EARLY 90's) Venom was kind of an Anti-hero typaguy. Kinda like the punisher, but instead of pumping the evil-doers fulla lead, he'd rip thier spines out.

These days its not even Eddie Brock in the sybiote suit anymore, and the charecter has really gone downhill.
