RC, you're fully entitled to your opinion. Me, I used to think similarly about The Golden Girls myself until my girlfriend got me watching a bit of it. Now I can't watch it without getting a laugh or being amused. One episode in particular I found really funny. Blanche, Rose and Dorothy all want to buy protection for a possible weekend rendezvous with some gentlemen friends. Dorothy tried to subtly give an hint to clueless Rose as to what they intend to buy only to be frustrated again and again. Finally, thoroughly flustered she shouts: "CONDOMS ROSE!! CONDOMS! CONDOMS! CONDOMS!" to which a man working at the store replies: "Whoa lady clam down, did you just get out of prison?"
