PARANORMAL ENTITY (2009)

This was the Asylum's knockoff of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, and was not nearly as good as the original. That being said, it was still better than about 90% of the stuff The Asylum cooks up. The main character, Samantha Finley (Erin Marie Hogan) was way better looking than the main female character in ACTIVITY, and some of the scenes were moderately creepy. All told, I've wasted an hour and a half on much, much worse films . . . like LAND OF THE LOST.

Anyone else see this one?

I haven't seen this. Saw the trailer though.

I always find myself interested in the Asylum's movies - I know they'll be bad, but I love how blatant they are with their rip offs.

And lets admit it, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was heapsa fun!

I started to watch this and with out the forum topic I saw that it was a blaten ripoff of Paranormal Activity. I had to stop watching the movie, kids got up. I will say it looks more intersting that the first. I will finish it later. I will say (this is the guy in me), the mom and the daughter are hotter that the herion in Paranormal Activity and the male actors are both really annoying.

I can't stand Asylum. People with no creativity have no place in the movie industry. I could direct a better film with a much smaller budget.

Too bad I don't have a budget at all.

The Asylum can officially kiss my ass. There is no way in hell I'm watching any more of their crap. Megashark vs. Giant Octopus was sheer torture. The monsters were on screen for maybe 30 seconds, cumulatively!

Actually its about 4 minutes, and thats not counting the footage that is repeated!
