Sandman is an intersting nomination.  Just like Abby, a true hardcore legend but at this point I'm not sure how I'll vote on him.  Abdullah I had to give at least one "save" to in the past as respect for his bloody in-ring efforts.

Sandman's an interesting nomination.  Not a great 'wrestler' at all, but an interesting 'hardcore' legend who meant a lot to ECW.

I had to throw a Save in for Ricky Steamboat, a wrestler that Steve Austin once referred to as the best he was ever in the ring with. Ric Flair too has sung high praises for Steamboat's in-ring work and lest we not forget Steamboat vs. Randy Savage stealing the show at Wrestlemania III. All of these guys deserve to be in the Hall of Fame IMO. Least deserving to me though seems to be the Sandman who will be more remembered for his entrances than a lot of his in-ring work.

I quite like Sandman.  His feud with Raven was quite fun to watch.  Raven 'brainwashing' Sandman's son against him in a cult.  Captivating stuff.

Although I've "killed" him once, I have to admit its hard for me to off Ricky Steamboat.  I really think he was a decent in ring techinician.  He pulled some good feuds with Ric Flair but I've read Vinnie Mac had things against him at certain points of his career.  Hence why he had a hard time getting out of midcard.
