I have to say, I'm not overly familiar with The Mongols or New Breed.  I've seen some of the Breed, not much of Mongols.

The Breed of Sean Royal and Chris Champion appeared in late 80s Crockett Promotions NWA playing a silly gimmick where they were supposed to be from the then future-2002. They feuded with Jimmy Valiant and Lazer-Tron believe it or not and did do a few futuristic gimmicky interviews. At one point, I think Champion wore a cast on his arm that he claimed was a computerized bionic arm. They briefly feuded with the Rock 'n' Roll Express and were set to feud with the Midnight Express when a car accident took them out of action. They were actually pretty solid in ring and did some great double team moves. They didn't last very long as Royal retired from wrestling to become a construction worker.

The Mongols originally paired veteran Newton Tattrie as Geto Mongol with a young Nikolai Volkoff as Bepo Mongol, a pair of brawling powerhouses in-ring that were rather dominant together. Later Tattrie trained Bill Eadie, the future Masked Superstar/Demolition Ax and teamed with him with Eadie using the name Bolo Mongol.
