The worst thing about this is that it is obviously from the pro-Evangelical Christian comics Archie released in the '80s.

I wonder if non-Christian Camp attendees were exposed to these. Only a couple of steps removed from Jack Chick tracts. Displayed on the same rack for me, and, yes, I had a stack of these at home growing up.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

I think I had one of those once.  I'm not particularly religious myself but it was well-written and its positive message wasn't overly preachy.

You're probably right, I tend to veer towards the hyperbole.

But I spent my kidhood reading the regular Archie comics, so when the pro-Christian ones were presented to me, they had all the subtlety of a ton of bricks.

What I wouldn't give to get my hands of a copy on this comic:

Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.
