I had a VHS import of this (with Portuguese subtitles) about 18 years ago.  Recently bought a DVD-R copy from Video Search of Miami (with no subtitles and better quality than my old VHS copy).

First of all, this movie is terrible.  But for some odd reason, I think everyone in this forum should see it at least once.

The movie is very cheap.  The audio synch is very bad (I believe it was probably filmed silent and the dialogue was looped during post production).

The (very minimal) plot involves Terry Hawkins an ex-convict who vows to "show them all" by making a series of snuff films.  He meets some underground porno filmmakers whose clients are looking for "something different" . . . and Terry is very happy to oblige.

This movie has a reputation for being very gory.  There's one scene that lives up to this reputation and it's near the end of the movie.  The rest of the movie, while in very poor taste, isn't very gory.

Things to look for:

* A topless woman in black-face make-up being whipped by a hunchback at a party.
* A guy getting kicked repeatedly while Terry screams "I'm the director of this f___ing movie!"
* An animal's hoof being used as a phallic symbol.
* A gory dismemberment and disembowelment.

The one positive thing I can say about this movie is the cheapness of the whole thing does create a very creepy atmosphere.

looks entertaining

does it have any connection with LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, only in that trailer near the end someone repeats "just tell yourself, it's only a movie..." similar title, similar tag line?

also the music that comes in on the trailer at around 2:30 sounds like dubstep. is it in the film? sounds very modern not too 70s

No connection at all to LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT.  Not sure about that music . . . I don't think it's the same in the movie, but it could be.

I don't remember much about this film, except that it was very, very boring.  I think I hit EJECT about half-way through and returned it.

You're right.  Not much happens until about the last 15 minutes.  I think the movie is less than 80 minutes long, so if you couldn't make it to the end that PROVES how bad it is!
