anyway, the media just makes things a thing seem really, really bad. The Recession for example, "The US is in the Worst time in history!" And these people obviously "forgot" about the Great Depression.  these idiots,they need to go to Indy's school and retake history from him!!!!

All right, this one takes some explaining.  Ever been given a minor task, and you either forget about it or do it wrong.  The person who gave you the task asks you about it.  You explain that it was'nt done (or done properly) and then they stand there looking at you with this stupid grin on their face, not saying anything. Almost like their glad they caught you on someting. They don't say anything.   

My dad has done this to me, and a teacher once did this to me. The teacher one really annoyed me, because "the look" was in response to me re-doing a project from scratch to make sure it was better then the previous attempt. For a moment I thought he was annoyed that I went the extra mile (well extra 100 yards at least).   

This can somewhat akin to people who say "I'm not a mind reader" but somehow expect other people too be ones.
