I agree, those people annoy me too, but I don't think they're "film snobs." Many of them are trolls. The rest are dumb guys.

The ones that really grate on me are the ones that post something like "why this is a bad movie" and then list a bunch dumb out of their rear end crap....like, for example, a science FICTION movie not being "realistic enough."

Ugh.

As an example, I really enjoyed the weaving of the story in EXAM, yet there are pages upon pages of "debate" on IMDB as to why the story does not make sense, or couldn't happen.

I wonder...do some of these people think what they are looking at on screen is suppose to be real, like it's all "found footage?"  Do they not realize it's all 'creative writing' and art and production?  I do wonder...

So CISPA is in the works, and the House of Reps. passed it. It wasn't in the news because it was being passed at the time of the Boston Bombing and everyone was on edge to find the bastards responsible. The House took this opportunity to pass this when the citizens wasn't watching. And Yet we say that China should loosen up with the internet restrictions. Our rights is being semi violated, because it is an online version of breaking the 4th amendment, unauthorized search. Tell me why we can't have nice things again?
yeah no.

It really grinds my gears that so many people seem to believe that the total of all human knowledge and experience is on the internet!  :hatred: They don't get it that it is all 'cherry-picked': what is out there is out there because someone was moved to put it there for whatever reason.  The subsequent point of annoyance being that it is ALL taken to be reliable and accurate!
Unbelievable.  :bluesad:

I once had a client here who said that if he couldn't find it on Google, it didn't exist.

I actually remember that during the late 90s when the internet wasn't nearly as big as it is now, you would use interactive CD-ROMs to get information. I owned a few myself.

Plumbing.  I freakin' hate plumbing.  Putting in a new kitchen faucet.  The old supply lines are 3/8", the new faucet is 1/2".  Back to Menards I go to get some A)  3/8" shut off valves and B)  3/8" to 1/2" adapter lines.  Get that, saw off the old copper tubing.  The 3/8" shut off valves are way too small.  WTF?  Oh now I see, the lines start off as 1/2" but in order to install the old 3/8" faucet the guy just soldered on some 3/8" line.  Back to Menards I go.  Everything 1/2" this time.  So we're up to three trips including the one to buy the faucet in the first place.

Argh.  Should have just let it leak.

One of my favorite Youtuber got banned due to "3rd party claims." I have no idea why they would attack people, since he gave the copyright to the artist and recording studios, he wasn't claiming that it was his. :bluesad: I'm tired of these damn bullies. :hatred:
