We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Mr. DS

Guys who bash males who do cheerlead are pathetic pieces of sh!t that are probably more homosexual than the people they are accusing of being homosexual.  Good for this kid.  We had one male cheerleader on the team that people use to rag on calling him "Faggot" and other stupid things.  Little did they know, he was banging the whole cheer team.

Good for him. Its nice to see kids stand up for who they are and what they want to do.

His mother did the right thing by filling charges against the boys who broke his arm.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

HAH!  Like Richard Simmons...for all the gayness he allegedly exuded, I bet this was his hook to get near the chicks and let em' have a bit O' Richard.  What with so many women thankful for him helping to change their lives for the better, he had a virtual henhouse to pick from,  :bouncegiggle:

Brave kid. It takes guts to stand up for yourself and to go against the norm when you're an adult, let alone a kid.

I remember when I was in high school the only male flutist in the band got teased occasionally, but since he became friends with all us girls he didn't feel uncomfortable around women (unlike many of the other guys).

Musical talent is unisex, and besides,  he was probably very ahead of most of his male peers in terms of understanding and getting along with women, as well as perhaps using this as a stepping stone to a greater range of confidence building activities. I'd say it was win-win for him all around. Good deal.
