Batman, the famous crime fighter, was arrested today on suspicion of the death of Superman, his long time rival for the affections of Wonder Woman. Superman was found dead at a Justice League party, apparently Kryptonite overdose was the cause.

Batman is suspect due to his role at the party, where he was in charge of putting ice cubes in everyone's drinks. One witness, on condition of anonymity, alleges he saw Batman with an odd trio or red ice cubes he put into Superman's drink prior to serving.

Superman collapsed shortly after he began to drink, and was pronounced DOA at Metropolis General Hospital.  Batman is being held without bail, and refuses to comment.

In breaking news here on Channel 7, Batman was arrested earlier today after a drunken quarrel with his partner Robin turned violent.  Details are still sketchy at this point, but apparently Batman was upset that Robin had been seeing other men behind his back.  Batman is being held on $150,000 bail at the Gotham city jail, and Robin was treated and released from Gotham General earlier today.  Meanwhile the Joker got away.
