Rick Astley had some great songs, but not without a cheese factor after 20-odd years. And he's one of those guys who made a splash, then kind of disappeared. One of the reasons I enjoyed the whole Rickroll thing when it was big.

Mind you, I can see the embarrassment of liking Rick Astley as an artist aimed at teenage girls.

I'm generally embarrassed about liking cutesy girlie tunes, such as:

Of course, The Cardigans' cover of Iron Man is funny as hell. I like it for its' WTF? factor, which is nothing to be ashamed of.

It is catchy in a way I admit but I can never think of that song without the parodies I have seen or seeing the song set to the Hellsing anime.  Quite funny to see Alucard as though he is singing Barbie Girl.
