88) Thergothon-Stream From the Heavens

If I were to be stranded on a desert island and had to choose which albums would I take, THIS would be one of them. What makes "Stream From the Heavens" interesting is the pace of the music. It's incredibly slow, even for doom metal standards! The band makes up for the slow pace with an atmosphere of dread and sorrow. Not to forget to mention that it's a pretty heavy album too. In my opinion: THIS is the definitive doom metal album.

This list started with a Venom album, so it shall end with one:

100) Venom-The Waste Lands

The Last album to feature Tony Dolan on bass and vocals. This is truly an underrated gem both as a Venom album and a metal album. While it doesn't quite up to par with Venom's first four releases, it comes quite close. If I could recommend a song off this album, check out "Clarisse".

Thus ends the list. You may continue posting if you wish. The albums/EPs posted next will be considered as 'Honourable Mentions".
