Let's take my "Dumb Moments in Good Movies" thread and flip it on it's head!

Let's talk about scenes in films you HATED that almost made the whole thing worth watching!

Example: I hated "The Expendables" but LOVED when Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Swartzenegger insult each other with Bruce Willis watching them. For me that made the film ALMOST worth watching.

The "In the Dark of the Night" number from Anastasia. Horribly dull and ugly Disney rip-off...But MAN, that song is EPIC!

The soundtrack to Batman Forever was pretty cool, I know its not a scene but I liked it.

Seeing Keanu Reeves get the s**t beat out of him by a girl in Point Break.

And a naked girl at that.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

Yeah, when they raid the house of the guys they think might be the bank robbers but turn out to be drug dealers instead. Keanu is in the house during the raid and a tattooed naked chick who was taking a shower comes up behind him and kicks his ass. Unless I'm remembering it wrong and it was Gary Busey that get's beat up, but I'm pretty sure it was Keanu.

Incidentally, one of the drug-dealing surfers was Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the Drag Queen joke in Bee Movie.  I hate that movie, but the joke about the queen bee being a drag queen was pretty funny. :tongueout:

Great movie.  The nake girl was the icing on the cake for the raid.

The end of "Snakes on a Train" made that movie good, and is still my most favourite ending to any film ever.

Anything which has a snake eat a train before it's shot into the sun by a Mexican sorcerer using bright lights and a tornado is a winner in my books.

Speaking of great soundtracks in bad movies, Jaws: The Revenge's soundtrack was good and totally wasted on that film.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I thought the newest Rambo was a subpar film but the last battle was epic.

Oliver & Company in spite of the terrible designs, animation (save the "beautifully-ugly" design for Fagin) and a dull story and cast throughout, at least has a fantastic climatic car chase at the end.
And Suburban Commando contributed "I WAS FROZEN TODAY!" to society. :D

No. Nostagia Critic brought it to society. Without him Suburban Commando would be slowly fading into oblivion on the bottom of a $5 dollar buy 1 get 1 free bin at the Best Buy while nobody would bother to watch it and find the joke hilarious enough to post it online and popularize the famous line............ [Excessively long rant deleted]

And that's how Hulk Hogan and Brook Hogan are the same person.

In Monster A Go-Go, the credits saved me. :tongueout: :teddyr:
