Yes. He appeared in many films before DRACULA. In Hungary,Germany, and America. He wasnt a rookie. He made is first film in 1917.The LEOPARD (1917).
He was in the 1920 version of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde-he played Conrad Veidts butler. Directed by FW(NOSFRATU) Murnau-he also appeared with Lon Chaney in HE WHO GETS SLAPPED as an extra.
I know my Lugosi.

I should study into him. I'm obsessed with all things Dracula. Books, Films, the video game Castlevania. Lugosi, Oldman, Lee...... Leslie Nielson  :bouncegiggle:..... I'm also big on Mel Brooks.

It's always great to have another 'Classic Monster Kid' on board.

I appreciate that - and A.J.

It's different, but I wouldn't call it strange. I think any fetish can seem strange to people who don't share it, but then I also think fetishists themselves overestimate how strange they appear to others. Anthropomorphic animals are fine with me. I draw the line at real animals, because they can't give informed consent.

I'm no Zoophile. Also I prefer sentient furries the concept of ferals is boring. If you want a good idea for what I think of when it comes to furries, seek out the web comic "Sequential Art" and study into the character Kat. If you don't give a crap, seek out "Sequential Art" anyway. It's a FUNNY AS HELL comic.

Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to imply any connection between furries and zoophiles. I know the two are not related, although I'm sure a lot of people do make that connection. Kat is the sort of thing I figured you were into, and I would consider her more a woman with feline features than a cat with human features. Really, there's a lot of nice artwork on furry sites. Not my cup of tea personally, but I can certainly understand the appeal.

I'm afraid I don't understand your joke.

Don't be afraid - I'll explain:

In THE RAVEN there's a great scene of Lugosi shouting 'POE! YOU ARE AVENGED!!!" as he tortures someone.

It makes absolutely no sense - but it's a great Lugosi moment.
