The Crush (1993)

Ok time to admit that I love this guilty pleasure.

Alicia Silverstone is beyond great in this movie and plays a complete evil little c*nt.  Am I alone in liking this film?

My ex used to force me to watch it. I didn't care for it really. I guess, by that point I was pretty darn sick of being shown movies where some hot young chick is after some older dude and everything goes all psycho crazy. Alicia Silverstone was cool though, back when the world didn't hate her for no reason...

I watched this as a kid. The sight of a nude Alicia Silverstone is enough to make me like The Crush.

I've got this movie in my Netflix instant queue.
It's pretty good.  The creepy part is the hell that Cary Elwes's character goes through.  The accusations made against him, though untrue, are actually plausible and probably would be believed by the majority of citizens and friends around him.

I always remember the bee scene.

Whenever I see a thread for The Crush I'm reminded of intense internet drama I had the 'pleasure' of witnessing a couple of years ago. Some kid at my other forum was obsessed with The Crush and Alicia Silverstone which caused constant annoying discomfort to say the least. It ended with him and another member getting banned but their online war didn't end after that. They both filed harassment complaints, authorities were involved, cops showed up at each others doorsteps etc etc.

As for the movie, I thought it was ok. The only reason I watched it was because of Jennifer Rubin. Yep, I had a crush on her back in the day

Although that wasn't Alicia's bum in the film I still like to pretend it was.  Now can we talk about Hideaway (1995)? It's got a hot Alicia AND Godflesh playing in a club!

I didn't really like this film when it came out, but over time I've grown to appreciate it. It's not a great movie, but it's good enough to be entertaining, a little creepy, and also a little trashy in an enjoyable way, in a similar manner as Wild Things was enjoyable in a trashy kind of way.

Although that wasn't Alicia's bum in the film I still like to pretend it was.  Now can we talk about Hideaway (1995)? It's got a hot Alicia AND Godflesh playing in a club!

I like this movie.  I thought that it was well done.  I will also admit that Alicia Silverstone was hot.  (depending on how old she was at the time of the movie) I would have loved to be the male actor in the closet after she got out of the shower    .

She was hot.  She played a mean little b$*ch.

I would own it.
