Tonight Blacula is playing as a midnight movie in my town!  I thought the trailer for it looked good, so I might as well go.  I've never seen it before, but I have seen William Marshall as the King of Cartoons on Pee-Wee Herman.

So, what do you guys think of Blacula?

The Burgomaster

I like it.  I also like the sequel.  I have both on DVD, but if they played at a midnight show in my area I would gladly pay to attend!

Cthulhu

Good for you! I'd like to see an old exploitation movie in the theater myself.

Rev. Powell

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Hammock Rider

I'd love to see it on the big screen. I'm sure you''l have a blast!
Jumping Kings and Making Haste Ain't my Cup of Meat

Criswell

Your a lucky person to have a theater that shows B-movies nearby!

What city are you in, Spazzo if you don't mind me asking?

Have a fun time.

There's a revival house outside of Orlando called the Enzian. Got to see a lot of great 35mm prints of classics. Like Jaws, The Jerk, and a 3D print of Creature of the Black Lagoon.

In the late 1970s I saw a great 3-D double feature of CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE at the old Granada Theater (one of the classic old-style movie palaces) in Malden, MA.  I have a lot of good memories from that theater.  I also saw a double feature of MOTHER'S DAY and DAWN OF THE DEAD there, as well as THE WARRIORS and UP IN SMOKE.  I even saw ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE there during a limited re-release in the late 70s.  There really aren't many theaters in my area that have good revival showings anymore, although sometimes the artsy theaters in Boston and Cambridge show some cool stuff.  But not often enough.

I'm in Saskatoon, Canada.  Middle of freakin' nowhere.  But we have a great theatre called The Broadway Theatre that plays old, indie, and foreign movies.
