The Burgomaster

* BULLITT
* THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR
* DAY OF THE JACKAL
* ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA (full version, not the miserable, heavily edited U.S. theatrical version)

And here's a somewhat obscure movie that is much better than you might expect:

The Monster Squad (1987) It's like The Goonies but with Monsters.

I never saw The Goonies.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

Get on it, man.  The Goonies is great, but you would LOVE the Monster Squad.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
