We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

The guys who lived below me growing up had a table top Space Invaders game . I spent alot of money there.

Make Space Invaders the movie but NOT Metal Gear the movie... right. Chalk 1 up for Hollywood again.

The question is what they can make use of (other than the title for name recognition) from the game.  The plot is that you shoot aliens that descend more and more quickly with each wave.  I'm not seeing a whole lot of character development in the plot.

I'm still waiting for the Michael Bay "Dig Dug" movie, which might look something like this:

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Pong, The Movie:

A giant cube of energy descends from the heavens, causing mayhem & destruction everywhere, as it ricochets almost gracefully between the Earths surface and the atmosphere.

A scientist develops a monolithic energy column to stop the cube. But on the first attempt, the cube misses.
The solution: a simple device to control the column, matching the position of the cube by making the column go up & down.
On the next attempt, the scientist successfully strikes the cube! But instead of stopping it, he only causes the cube to go the other way.
The solution: Build another column, thus trapping the energy cube between the two. The two energy columns need constant & perpetual adjustment by hand, but as long as the military engineers are able to keep the cube from escaping, the Earth is safe!

I go back on my meds Tuesday.
