That's "Screamin'" Jay Hawkins! Love that guy. I'm a bit dismayed that they made him into a McDonald's commercial.

But "I Put a Spell on You" is a classic.

How come I haven't seen this thread before? This is a gold mine!
I actually have a playlist of weird youtube videos (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMmaGAV9So1s2Rjxe8VGB3myRDcKu4KAM) with about 150 videos on it, not counting the ones that got deleted. It's what I go to whenever I feel the need to send someone a weird video (this is a normal thing for me). I'm having a field day assimilating this thread into my collection!

I guess I'll share some of my best gems so you guys don't have to search my whole collection.

SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINS had a fabulous voice... which is why his classic does not belong anywhere in a "TRULY WRETCHED" thread.   :teddyr: But I seriously believe it was the "extra value meal" that yielded retrorussell's "yuck".
