Happy birthday Mom!

On Saturday 4th, Mom turned 79. Still feisty, still beautiful and still a caring parent, despite the fact that she still maintains that I gave her every grey hair she has on her head.  

Mom: I love you ~ you've had to put up with a lot from me, you've weathered a civil war, the loss of a husband of 51 years but you've still kept your sense of humor and held your head high.

Mom, a tribute to you in the words of Bob Seeger: "You're still damn good: no one's gotten to you yet."

Remember that she and Dad are chiefly responsible for my interest in films: they had to drag me kicking and screaming into a horrible sounding place called THE CINEMA  when I was seven and then they had to drag me kicking and screaming out when it was over because I didn't want to leave.

You know, Trevor, your mom has a LOT of company this month. My grandma was born on the 4th.  Me, on the 6th.  My mom on the 10th.  And my son on the 12th.  I've also got 2 sisters-in-law, and 2 nieces this month, too.   Party on, Aquarians
