I've just seen on both CNN and MSNBC, that Whitney Houston's passed away tonight.  No cause of death has been announced yet.  She was 48.

She had a beautiful voice and a lovely face.  And she was exactly my age.
This is just sad news . . . .

Wow that's a surprise.  RIP Whitney.

Damn. Hard to believe that Bobby Brown outlived her.

Did she ever say when she started using drugs? I mean, everyone blames Brown (not saying he's innocent or anything), but maybe she had issues before being with him. I slightly recall a couple miscarriages (drugs can play a part in that, but not always).

Bobby could've gotten her involved, just been curious about it.

Damn shame though. Such a good voice.

a good voice but...just being honest here...not an artist who will leave much impact musically on the world. her oeuvre was undeniably bland/MOR chart fare. I must admit I found I Will Always Love You seriously annoying back in the day. still a sad death, especially considering the circumstances of her 'downfall'. rip

A lovely lady with a gorgeous voice....and like indianasmith she was my same age. Her songs remind me of my college days whenever we'd go out crusing around, listening to the radio. This is a real sad time for us. :bluesad:
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.
