I've had repeated bad experiences with 'Lowes'. Unfortunately I had to deal with them a bit when I was purchasing for the State.
Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

My most hated is Norton Anti-virus.  On my old computer, they quit supporting the version of the software I was using, so I went to their website, they analyzed my computer, and recommended which newer version I should upgrade to.  So I paid for it and downloaded it - and it locked my computer up.  I restarted in safe mode and removed it from the startup programs, which was the only way to use the computer at all.  Internet didn't work as it got its programs in there and totally screwed it up.

So I call up Norton customer support and get some guy in India who knew absolutely nothing about computers.  I spent 45 minutes listening to him flip through the pages of his instruction manual.  Over 45 minutes he instructed me to add Norton back into my list of startup programs.  I tole him numerous times that this would just result in my computer locking up as soon as I rebooted it, but he didn't understand, didn't care, didn't have a clue what else to do.

So I ended up taking the computer to a repair place in town and paying them $150 to back up my files, reformat my hard drive, reinstall the operating system and restore my files.  The guy told me that Norton's current anti-virus software didn't run on older computers like mine, but they were quite happy to say that it did, f*** up your computer and take your money.

The nicest part though was that Norton sent me an e-mail asking me how satisfied I was with my purchase - but I only had a limited time to respond.  By the time I got my computer back, the opportunity to respond had expired.
