TV really liked widowers (and widows) families broken by death (only later divorce).  
"THE COURSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER" with BILL BIXBY... am I wrong thinking that a lady would probably find a young, widowed, great father with gentleness and humor, also to be sexy?   :smile:
