UGH.  Don't know the show, not interested, but I thank you for thinking of me.

I grew up hearing Della Reese's version, which I can't find on YouTube.

Listening to it now.  Excellent!  That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.
Oh, let me clarify that GLORIA LYNNE is the only artist to enter the Billboard Top 40 with "I Wish You Love" , in 1964 at #28.  Nobody else has had a hit with this song except GLORIA LYNNE.

Here's an oldie but a goodie:

Reminds me of the record parties the older kids next door would have on summer nights, Chinese lanterns strung on the grape arbor....

For RCMerchant / BELA: HURRICANE SMITH "Who Was It?" a huge hit in Britain in 1971, before "Oh Babe, What Would You Say?" was HURRICANE's only USA hit:
EDIT: Wrong!  I think this was his last hit in Britain, a few weeks or months after "Oh Babe, What Would You Say?" and went not so high there to like #23...?  Question
Small | Large

This is not ROCK, totally POP, not a hit here in the USA, and only #23 in Britain... but my favorite this week.

For Tracy:

Any excuse to listen to old BEATLES records and look at old BEATLES clips is good with me.
I would ask you, Tracy, do you think he says "I'm very bored..." OR "I buried PAUL..." ?

For Darksider (Mr. DS):

Please note nobody probably likes this video, but it was HOWARD JONES' one really great song... which makes me think of you.  Great.  I know you'd never wear no flip-flops on the off chance you might appear on "Antiques Roadshow" like the guy did on PBS tonight, since one might expect probably to stand in lines, well, for awhile.  I don't understand a man in flip-flops waiting in lines to get into an urban center to possibly appear on television practically barefoot?  Perhaps bleeding... ? Lookingup BounceGiggle BounceGiggle  I wanna stomp on those unprotected feet!   BounceGiggle BounceGiggle

For Alanhopewell: this old hit, performed by the band LIVE:
Small | Large

Great hit, great song, great record.

Thanks, I loved that!

I love this: CAPTAIN BEEFHEART "Ice Cream For Crow" from the early '80s... MTV rejected this tame video and tune for being "too weird" or something like that...!!!  This video is for HAPPY:
