Adam Sandler returns, this time entering R-Rated territory.

In it, 13 year old Donny sleeps with his beautiful teacher over the course of a few weeks. She gets pregnant, goes to jail for thirty years. Donny gets thrust in the limelight, tv appearances, a sitcom, magazines. Owing the IRS money and attempting to avoid prison, he crashes the wedding weekend of his son, Han Solo, to coerce him in a televised reunion with his mom in jail for a bunch of money.

Beyond the crude humor, there's a sweet story with Sandler as the father and Samberg as the son.

Hilarious cameos from Tony Orlando, Todd Bridges, and Vanilla Ice.

A big step up from Jack and Jill and Bucky Larson.

You have this in the good movie section?

It's up to 23% positive on Rotten Tomatoes!

The last 4 movies Sandler was involved with scored 0, 3, 10 and 19 percent positive.

But I bet they all made money.

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

You have this in the good movie section?

I debated on which section to throw this in.

But, overall, it's not as bad as some previous HappyMadison productions.

Going for a full R-Rating worked best.

In all honesty, it wasn't a waste of money.  I laughed, a lot, so that makes it good.

I gave up on Sandler after watching Little Nicky, but then came Punch-Drunk Love (2002) but I only bought it for my Paul Thomas Anderson collection.
My first ever Sandler movie was Bullet Proof, but I didn't think much of it. I totally enjoyed The Wedding Singer (1998) and hated The Waterboy (1998). Big Daddy (1999) was ok but Little Nicky was a pain to watch. Never seen any of his movies made before Bullet Proof and none he made after Punch-Drunk Love. And I have no desire to catch up.
Amazingly enough, Sandler is a big box office draw so people must really like him. Can't say that I do.

Billy Madison was decent.

Happy Gilmore stands as his best film.

And...James Caan is in this.

A big step up from Jack and Jill and Bucky Larson.

A movie about a rat getting killed in a  trap would be a  big step up from Bucky Larson..............RRRRRRRRRRRATED R.

Sandler's cd's were R-Rated.

His movies were PG-13, a step down.

Should stick to R-Rated films. Boy was very enjoyable.
