They're not only suing Oatmeal now, but also Indiegogo, The American Cancer Society, and Nation Wildlife Fund.  Seriously, f**k FunnyJunk.  Someone should sue them for false advertising.

I have to admit, this story just keeps getting funnier.

To be fair to Mr. Carreon, it is a universal human attribute to never back down from a fight once it's become public. I don't remember what crappy sci-fi novel I garnered this one statement from, but I've always found it incredibly true. "It is a very rare person who will back down from an argument once they realize they are wrong."

That empathy ends when you realize Carreon is the bad guy. Litigation as blunt force trauma deserves no accolades. Suing charitable organizations as a method of saving face? Go f**k yourself, you are human scum.

That being said, this story is hilarious. It's just going to keep getting worse for Mr. Carreon, who can't seem to stop digging his own grave.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Let me see if I'm reading this correctly.  Their logic is ...

"I'm going to sue the Outmeal, for pointing out how I was stealing from them."

"Now I'm suing various charities  because somebody I don't like is giving them money."

Quote1. The lawsuit is captioned Charles Carreon v. Matthew Inman; IndieGogo Inc.; National Wildlife Federation; American Cancer Society; and Does [Does are as-of-yet-unnamed defendants],

"And now I'm going to sue female deer. All of them!  Do I even need a reason?"

That about cover it?  Admittedly, I'm slight unsure about the last one, but it makes as much sense as the other two.

Just one correction: FunyJunk isn't involved in the second lawsuit, it's the lawyer acting on his own.

With all the negative publicity I bet FunnyJunk regrets ever retaining him now.

The general consensus is Carreon's committing professional, or at least reputational, suicide. (Please don't sue me Mr Carreon!)
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

May I just say that the title reminded me of this-

But really, is it really worth the total effort to make yourself look like a complete and total Douchebag?
