Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)

The book would not have translated nearly as well to the screen as the actual screenplay.  It's a bit like THE RUNNING MAN: the novella and the movie have the same basic premise, but take it in much different directions.

I saw it yesterday....and thought it was gonna be a Troma type thing.
Well...it takes itself very seriously....but when Abe starts swinging an axe and kicking ass like Bruce Lee-well,I was hooked.
I sure wish they used regular blood squibs and 1980's type gore,but I reckon them days are long gone now....too bad.
Overall-I like it. Totally unrealistic and insane-but hell-look at the title folks.
