A 3-member appeals panel has overturned the player suspensions in the Saints bounty case due to lack of evidence that the men played with the intention to injure other players.

I believe that Goodell has no evidence or else he would've shared it with the players lawyers.

I'm kicking myself for benching AP infavor of Nate Washington...oh well, it happens.

Horrid performance by the Bills today.. but I didn't really expect a win; we never seem to match up well with the Jets.  4 turnovers will kill any team against an at least decent opponent.  Fitzpatrick was bad.  Certainly better in the 2nd half (and the D finally played ok in the 4th), and C.J. Spiller went nuts after Fred Jackson went down.  Some positives to carry into next week against the Chiefs (whom we should thrash).

Very happy with Fantasy Football week #1 so far.  My main team (in the CDM Sports league) is currently in 2nd place in my 25 team league and 69th in the entire nation.  There's still plenty of football remaining and anything can happen, but it feels good to be in the top 100 overall (at least for now).

Despite having benched AP and Rivers not yet playing, I'm dominating my opponent 102.10 to 72.90.

As I said I have Rivers yet to play, opponent has Flacco and Cary Williams.

I think it's in the bag.

I'm disappointed my Packers lost yesterday, but I'm looking forward to the beat down they'll give the Bears Thursday night.

Yeah, the Packers and Saints didn't look so good in week 1.  And I can't believe the Eagles still managed to win despite a horrid Vick performance.

Tonight Jay Cutler starred in Interception.

I'm really enjoying the Fan Duel fantasy football website.  You can enter one or more contests every week.  You can go head-to-head against one other team, compete in 5 team leagues, 10 team leagues, all the way up to "free for alls" where you play against 2,000 - 3,000 other teams.  Cash prizes are based on how many teams you compete against and how much money you pay to "buy in" to the contest.  The payouts are made weekly . . . so you submit a roster and if you score enough to be "in the money" that week, you win the money immediately.  No waiting until the end of the season.  Once the week is over, you can enter different contests the next week and submit completely different rosters.  In week #1, I entered 3 contests, paid a total of $12 in entry fees, and grossed $46 in payouts (so, net winnings of $34).

Good news, my team won last night. The bad news, my opponent has Crosby and is beating me by 12.8 points. Oh and I had Brandon Marshall starting last night.

It happens.

Temporarily, I'm not living at home. I wanted to watch the game last night.

The place I stayed didn't have the NFL Channel o.0

Which sucks for Sunday too. I watch as much as possible and catch up there.

To me the 49ers easily look like the best team in the league, however it's early.

As for the worst I believe that goes to the Browns.

Luckiest team, has to be the Eagles. With all their turnover issues how they remain undefeated is beyond me.

And these replacement refs are awful. I would not be surprised if their horribleness resultes in a player being hurt at some point this season.

Also, yesterday Steve Sabol the president of NFL Films passed away from from brain cancer at 69.  :bluesad:

I like the Eagles. My hometown team.

The fact Vick is still lead QB boggles my mind.
