I ordered it from www.takealot.com and I have to ask: Why, oh why did I order it?

On my first viewing I thought it was icredibly dull except for the awesome scenes taking place in that strange village. The movie grew on me after repeated viewings and I can see now why it is a bad movie fave.

1) I am the only person who will admit to having seen this in a cinema

and
2) I paid 5 South African rand for a copy on VHS a few years ago. That is a whole 50 cents US!

I do that all the time. I get in some weird mood and decide I MUST have a certain movie in my collection. Then a few hours later I'm like "Why? What's wrong with my brain?!?!"

You should be asking how you could possibly resist ordering "Gymkata!" That film is just as entertaining as it is ridiculous. Love that film.
